About Dr. Sunaina Vohra
Dr. Sunaina Vohra is a board-eligible pediatric dentist who grew up on Long Island. She earned her degree in molecular and cellular biology from Johns Hopkins University, where she also developed a love for crab cakes and the Baltimore Ravens—though she couldn’t avoid supporting the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins during her time at dental school at the University of Pittsburgh. She also played tennis for the JHU team during her college years. After dental school, Dr. Vohra continued her training at the Woodhull Medical Center Pediatric Dental Program in Brooklyn, NY, where she served as chief resident. Outside of work, Dr. Vohra enjoys recreational tennis, exploring Long Island and NYC, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Skipper.
Dr. Vohra is passionate about working with children and feels privileged to serve each family. Her focus spans all areas of pediatric dentistry, with a particular interest in obstructive sleep apnea and frenum attachments. Having been apprehensive about dental visits as a child, she understands the fears many children may have about dental care. Her goal is to make each visit an enjoyable and educational experience for both kids and their parents.
