About Dr. Robert W. Slauch
Dr. Robert W. Slauch, DDS, MDSc, FACP, is a surgically trained, board-certified prosthodontist at Laudenbach Periodontics & Dental Implants in Philadelphia. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, he specializes in restorative treatments and full-mouth makeovers, including dental implants, esthetic crowns, bridges, and veneers. Dr. Slauch earned his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University—where he also played baseball—his DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and completed advanced prosthodontics and dental implant surgery training, along with a master's degree, at the University of Connecticut Health Center. An active researcher, Dr. Slauch has been published in leading dental journals and received national recognition, including being a finalist in the 2019 John J. Sharry Research Competition. He was honored with Philadelphia Magazine's Top Dentist award in Prosthodontics for 2020, 2021, and 2022. Beyond his practice, Dr. Slauch lectures for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry MaxiCourse and other organizations, and serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, teaching in the Graduate Prosthodontics program.
