Dr. Jun Carrington

Dr. Jun Carrington, DMD is the lead dentist at Lumin8 Dentistry. Born in Korea and raised partly in Tacoma, WA, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Nevada. He further advanced his clinical expertise by completing the rigorous implant-dentistry MaxiCourse of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and undertaking comprehensive training at the renowned Kois Center. Known for blending technical skill with empathy, he offers a broad range of services — from preventive and restorative dentistry to cosmetic procedures and dental implants — and is recognized for his patient-centered, comfort-focused approach. Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Carrington enjoys working out, exploring restaurants with his wife, traveling, and cooking at home.
