Dr. Jonathan Kaczmarski

Dr. Jonathan Kaczmarski, known as Dr. Jon, is the founder and pediatric dentist at Purple Tooth Dental. He grew up in Raleigh and graduated from the University of North Carolina before spending more than eight years living and working in Mexico, Spain, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and other parts of Central and South America. His international experience, including teaching children in Spain, helped shape his child-focused approach to dentistry. Although he initially trained as a general dentist, he later completed a pediatric dental residency in New York, where he received advanced training in complex pediatric cases, sedation, safety, behavior management, and orthodontics. He also received orthodontic training during his residency and has treated more than 500 patients with braces. Dr. Jon has additionally participated in volunteer dental programs in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, and through WakeSmiles in Raleigh. He has presented on pediatric dentistry internationally in English and Spanish.
