Dr. Blake Willoughby

Dr. Blake Willoughby, DDS, is the owner and lead dentist at Bluewater Dental, where he provides comprehensive dental care focused on helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, functional, and confident smiles. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and Spanish from the University of Missouri–Columbia before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2019. Following dental school, Dr. Willoughby completed a General Practice Residency at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, where he gained advanced clinical experience treating complex dental needs and caring for patients with diverse medical and dental backgrounds. His clinical interests include dental implants, All-on-X implant rehabilitation, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Invisalign and clear aligner therapy, preventive care, sedation dentistry, and emergency dental treatment. Dr. Willoughby also pursues ongoing advanced education and mentorship through organizations and study groups such as the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Center, Sailfish Study Club, and Seattle Study Club. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Gold Coast Dental Association. With approximately six to seven years of experience practicing dentistry as of 2026, Dr. Willoughby combines comprehensive clinical training with a strong emphasis on continuing education and individualized patient care. His ability to speak Spanish also allows him to communicate with and serve a broader range of patients.
