Yelp! is a fantastic way to to get your name out there, and there are many reasons to invest in Yelp! ads. In a relevant post from Tech Crunch, they state that doing ads on Yelp! benefit the services with a high lifetime revenue per customer. This is especially true for Dentists. People are searching on Yelp! for anything that is reviewed and dentists are at the top of that list.

Here are a few more reasons to run Ads on Yelp!:

Word of Mouth Matters. Sure, you’re paying for advertising, but in the world of Yelp!, it’s not just the ads that people pay attention to. The reason people use Yelp! in the first place is because they want to know what others are saying about a particular business. When you use Yelp! ads, you’re drawing attention to your business and once you start gaining reviews, your practice will speak for itself! Just make sure you are providing quality dentistry. You don’t want to pay to bring someone to your negative reviews.

Yelp! Knows Who’s Looking for You. These days, you can target almost any audience, but it can rarely be done so succinctly as when you place an advertisement in a place like Yelp! ads where people are currently searching for a business like Dentists.

Not only are you driving new patients to your company through the ads, you’re driving competition off of your Yelp! page. In the end, it’s a win-win.

Yelp! ads are great for getting your name out there because Yelp! doesn’t only advertise to those people who are looking for great dentists in your area, but it also targets consumers who are looking for other businesses that might need your services, too. In today’s market, you have to know what kind of people might be looking for you, and Yelp! is great at finding the people that are seeking other services and pairing their needs with you, as well.

A Call to Action Brings Action. Yelp! offers a call to action button, which is a pretty powerful tool. When people are searching for new service professionals, they are often going through pages of reviews and ads while they try to figure out what works best for them. With Yelp!’s call to action button, your future patients can literally find you at the click of a button. They can call you, click your coupon, and make an appointment without fumbling through their phone and tons of paper. You’re there at their fingertips, and the value that comes from a call to action button is often priceless.
